NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 MAY USE THE SERVICES. INFORMATION COLLECTION

ScoutPro collects certain Information about you when you register for the Services, purchase products through ScoutPro.org and use the Services. This information may either be personally identifiable information or non-personally identifiable information.

 

Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information is information that identifies a specific user of the Services.When you register with ScoutPro.com, we record Information you submit in association therewith, including your name, email address and password.We may ask you to provide certain information about yourself when you: 1) order a product or service through the Services and/or from one of our partners; 2) submit feedback; 3) enter our contests or sweepstakes; 4) respond to a survey; 5) submit content in our discussion forums; 6) post a review; 7) request information or 8) sign up for special offers through the Services (collectively, “ID Actions”). While engaging in ID Actions is optional, if you do not provide the information requested in association with a particular activity, you may not be permitted to engage in that activity. If you provide us with a referral, that includes personally identifiable information relating to a third party, we may send the third party an invitation to register with the Services. We store this third-party information solely for the purpose of sending the third-party the invitation and gauging the success of the referral program. If the third party elects to register with the Services, all personally identifiable information collected from the third party will be collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy. At any time, the third party may request this information be removed from our database by sending the request to support@scoutpro.org.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information. Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that does not identify a specific user of the Services.When you use the Services, ScoutPro may record your cookie information and the areas within the Services that you visit, your downloads, agricultural information, geographic location information, the time you spend using the Services,the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) of the website you visited before using the Services, the URL of the website you visit after using the Services,your Internet protocol (IP) address, the type of browser you are using as well as similar information. Advertisers on theServices and third-party service providers may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags or similar tools to automatically collect this information when you use the Services.

ScoutPro.org uses your Personally Identifiable Information to provide you with products, services and information, improve our products and services, improve the Services, analyze trends, administer contests, enhance the Services, improve our marketing and promotion, administer the Services, and customize your experience both with the Services and with third parties as provided under the “Sharing Information” section outlined below. ScoutPro.org uses your Non-Personally Identifiable Information for troubleshooting, Services administration and trend analysis, as well as for demographic information collection and analysis. We may also share this Non-Personally Identifiable Information with authorized Third Party Service Providers and Advertisers to track the effectiveness of various products, advertising, services, content, and programming. We also use the information you provide us togather broad demographic information for non-personally identifiable aggregate use.

 

Any information you post or upload to public areas of the Service will be publicly available in accordance with the most current version of ScoutPro’s Terms of Use and are not considered protected information under this Privacy Policy.

 

SHARING INFORMATION

ScoutPro may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable demographic information with its partners and advertisers. ScoutPro will not share your personal information with any nonaffiliated companies except in furtherance of providing you goods or services that you have specifically requested. When we share your personal information with nonaffiliated companies, we do so only under the terms of a confidentiality agreement which prohibits the nonaffiliated companies from sharing your personal information with others. We may also share your personal information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or in exercise or defense of our legal rights. In the event ScoutPro merges with another company, your personal information shall be transferred to such other company.

 

CHOICES REGARDING INFORMATION COLLECTION

You have the option to ‘opt-out’ of having your information used for purposes not related to the Services at the point where we ask for the information.

 

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or information from us, such as email alerts, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the e-mail, or e-mail us at support@scoutpro.org.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA

The Services allow you to access social media sites such as Facebook to interact with others and to share information. If you connect to a social media site through the Services, such as “Connect with Facebook” your profiles will merge. By merging your accounts you are allowing the Services to access your information and you are agreeing to the terms of use of the associated social media website. You have the option to disable such social media connections at any time by logging into your profile on the Services and disabling such connections. You may also disable such connections through the social media websites themselves.

 

ORDERS

We request information from you when you make a purchase through the Services. You may be asked to provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you.

The Services utilize several security measures to prevent the loss, corruption or unauthorized dissemination of the information collected on the Services.
